How is the 18+ requirement enforced?
Date of birth is validated on the server during signup. Accounts that fail the check are blocked from completing registration.
How do I know I have a mutual match?
You'll see a notification and the profile will appear in your Matches list. A new conversation opens automatically in Messages.
Why can't I message someone I'm interested in?
Messaging only unlocks after a mutual like. It's the platform's single best defense against unsolicited contact — and it means every conversation starts with both people already saying yes.
How do I hide my profile when I need a break?
Go to Settings and toggle Visibility off. You'll disappear from discovery and search until you turn it back on. Existing matches can still see you.
How do I report or block someone?
Use the Report or Block buttons on any profile or message. Blocks take effect instantly. Reports go to a real moderation team.
I forgot my password. What now?
Click "Forgot password?" on the login page. You'll receive a time-limited reset link by email.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete. This permanently removes your profile, photos, matches, and messages. Some records are retained as required by law.
